Unlike traditional social networks, Nearsphere connects you to people here and now. Discover your community while "on-the-go", and see other users appear on your Timeline when they're within a few hundred feet of you. Your Timeline remembers these encounters for three weeks, so you can reach out to anyone whenever you like! Add hashtags to your profile to denote things you want to connect over, and we'll show you others who've tagged the same things. Use Nearsphere to: contact your classmates connect with someone from a networking event message that guy/girl from last night share your thoughts and strike up a conversation discuss popular topics with your community and friends connect with people in a new area Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. You must be 17+ and have a college email to register for Nearsphere.
